About Casual Connect Stockholm

Casual connect is a community for freelancers and entrepreneurs in Stockholm, founded by Mathilda Fyhr and Emelie Svedberg.

The first time we ever met over lunch, we decided to host an event for fellow freelancers and entrepreneurs. We were both missing a piece in our daily work - real, meaningful connections.

So we decided to create what we couldn't find elsewhere: a space where like-minded people could gather, share ideas and form genuine connections. 

Casual Connect was born out of a need for relaxed meetups with “colleagues” we actually enjoy being around, especially after the isolation of Covid.

We wanted something more than just another stiff networking event—something real, laid-back, and full of opportunities for collaboration on all levels.

So here we are, bringing together freelancers and entrepreneurs who get it, helping you find your chosen colleagues by planning and hosting quarterly events such as AWs, co-working sessions and workcations. 

Our events have resulted in enduring friendships, innovative collaborations, and rich knowledge sharing. And we hope to bring more of that!
